Imagine Canada encouraged to see recognition of the charitable sector as a driver for the Canadian economy
Last week, the federal government released the Spring Economic Update, Canada Strong for All.
Not only is there recognition of the charitable and nonprofit sector as an important driver for the Canadian economy, Imagine Canada has noted the government’s intention to modernize tax rules for charities. As this work progresses, meaningful engagement will be critical, and Imagine Canada is committed to continue their work with government to strengthen the environment for charities and nonprofits to operate and serve their communities across Canada.
