Marnie Hill, CFRE from Victoria, British Columbia is one of three new members elected to CFRE International's board of directors.

Ms. Hill is currently Manager, Gift Planning with the Canadian Red Cross.  She has been a CFRE since 2002 and has coordinated and participated in efforts to prepare those taking the CFRE exam. Ms. Hill is active with local, national and international efforts of the Association of Fundraising Professional (AFP) serving eight years on the board of AFP Foundation for Philanthropy. She is also a past president of the AFP Vancouver Island Chapter.

James (Jim) Caldarola, CFRE of Omaha, NE was elected to the role of Chair, with Sharilyn Hale, CFRE of Toronto, Ontario moving into the role of immediate past chair. Sharilyn had this to say, "...CFRE International is poised for making an even greater contribution to advancing standards and effective and accountable practice within the fundraising profession. It has been my honour to serve the fundraising community  through CFRE and I am incredibly excited about the future of fundraising certification."
